The 2006 Charity selected is
Kati’s Hope Foundation for Mesothelioma

We are dedicated to supporting the much needed medical research to find a cure for Mesothelioma and to help patients and their families devastated by the diagnosis of malignant Mesothelioma.

Malignant mesothelioma
(pronounced "Meez-o-thee-lee-o-ma"), also
known as "asbestos cancer," is a rare form
of cancer found in the lining of the chest, lungs,
or abdomen. This lining is called the mesothelium
and is where mesothelioma gets its name.
Mesothelioma is an incurable cancer.
